Are you the right counselor for me?
You are always in control of which counselor you choose to see. There should be a "fit" between you and that person. I'd love to say I will always be a match for you, but at any point I can help you with a referral to someone else or some other form of help.
How long is a session?
All sessions are 50 minutes long. This helps you to plan effectively, and allows me to schedule sessions at a comfortable pace.
Do you take insurance?
I do not accept or bill insurance. However, I am able to accept Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flex Spending Accounts (FSA).
How much does a session cost?
Each 50 minute session is $90. I accept multiple forms of payment including checks, cards, HSA, FSA, and Venmo.
Is counseling confidential?
Yes, I take your privacy and confidentiality seriously. In the Cedar Valley, it's not unusual to run into people you know, so when you run into your counselor, you'll want to know your information is completely confidential.
Do you offer counseling online?
Yes, I offer counseling online. Session length and cost are the same as in-person sessions. Whether you're traveling or you've got friends and family outside the Cedar Valley you'd like to refer to me, I'm happy to offer my services online.
Can you work with my child?
I only work with ages 12 and up. If you reach out to me, I’m happy to refer you to a therapist I trust.
